The vinyl features Gordi's single Peripheral Lover on Side A, and Alien Cowboy on Side B.
Peripheral Lover is an upbeat dance-pop track that navigates the complexities of early queer relationships. Gordi describes the song as exploring the dynamics of relationships where one partner is still in the closet, highlighting the tension between peripheral affection and the yearning for honesty and openness. The track features vibrant synths and was mixed by Rich Costey (HAIM, Death Cab for Cutie).
Alien Cowboy, presents a haunting and intimate exploration of identity and belonging. The lyrics envision a gay utopia, a space where queerness is fully embraced, reflecting Gordi's personal journey and artistic vision.
Pressed on limited edition pink marble 7" vinyl. Strictly limited to 200 copies.
